Therapy for ADHD

Helping people discover ways to manage whatever life throws at them.

It Can Feel Tough To Navigate When Too Much Is Happening In Life At Once.

Most people who start ADHD counseling feel stuck in a rut, unable to move forward. Perhaps you can relate? Maybe you try to rush to get through whatever you are doing, or you are unmotivated to do anything in your free time.

Stuck in negativity and feeling unmotivated, you may feel like life is overwhelming, like it’s too much.

Even if you don’t believe you deserve help, you do. You deserve to take care of yourself.

How ADHD Therapy Works

ADHD Therapy consists of 53-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, your therapist will share what the science tells us about what’s going on for you, they play an active role.
Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

1. First, your therapist will provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles with them.

2. Through hearing your story, your therapist will start to get a picture of what your challenges are.

3. Next your therapist will start by helping you with immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations.

4. You will also work together to discover what your goals are in therapy and in life.

5. Keeping your unique goals in mind, you’ll figure out what’s needed to help you reach them.

6. Over the course of your sessions, you will start making progress towards the life you desire.

Research shows that Therapy for ADHD can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors.
It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.
